One-of-a-kind Outdoor Living Space
Travertine stone is a smooth, porous, naturally decorative material which offers a soft cream hue, an overall old-world beauty, and a dense and durable surface. Travertine is most commonly used for building materials in Italy, and rich deposits of Travertine are also common to Turkey and surrounding regions.

The installation process for Travertine is the same as Pavers:
Remove existing concrete and excess soil during excavation.
Compact subsoil after excavation. Compact a 4-5" limestone base using a plate compactor every 2-3". Level and spread 1" or less of ASTM Standard C33 sand. Use snap edge around the perimeter of the patio to prevent stones from shifting. Secure snap edge using 8" spikes every 12".

Bloodgood Maple Tree
The "Bloodgood" Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood') is one of the most popular Japanese maple tree cultivars due to is consistent deep reddish purple leaf and and dark stem color. At fall foliage time those leaves become a striking crimson. Bloodgood is a medium to slow growing round-headed tree and will reach around 20' by 20' at mature height. It likes sun but can profit from light shade. The shade helps protect the foliage from the harshest summer light. But in order to develop their deep reds that they are known for, these plants need direct sunlight for at least a portion of the day. They are called “understory” plants that need partial shade in order to thrive.
